Holy cripes !!! I love these insect macros. Why does such a tiny creature need such huge eyes? And I wonder what they actually see out of them. All those little cells. Amazing!

Nice work and welcome to DGrin! I look forward to seeing more of your work.

    Welcome…
Holly Macro! That’s what your images are speaking to me. Amazing.. I know you just got the flash but, how long have you been capturing macros. Please don’t say three days! If I had to pick… #1 and #3 I like images that some what show where and what… post some more. MM

Hi there, and welcome to the Forum, nice to have you on board thumb.gif
Dalantech doesn't crop his images either.

This little guy was being very co-operative for you.
Did you feed him in the last 3 shots,
or was the food supply already there?

Great shots Jorngenesen clap.gif nice detail, and yet another MPE-65 user.
Excellent first post, enjoy the Forum and please keep posting thumb.gif

    tnx :)

i've been macro'ing for about a year now, i used to shoot with my 75-300 II + raynox DCR-250, but after a year collecting money (18 years old) i finaly got anough to buy the mp-e, i've been shooting with the mp-e since ..i think end may. but i got a hang of it pretty quick
btw, dalantech's pictures helped me take the plunge on buying the mp-e. he was the first one who could give me fullsize examples.

    i WILL post more

btw :P i lured the fly's with some honey
