Sorry for the number of images, but I really like the story behind these. This was my second time as a second-shooter, and this was probably one of the funniest of the (few) weddings I've worked! The bride and groom had a fantastic time, which made it all the more exciting for me!
I have at least one more scheduled, and maybe another - so, please, comments, criticisms, and advise highly wanted!!
1. and 2. The church in Coronado, California, a small island surrounding the San Diego Bay.
3. So, they had this small, toy, remote-controlled truck sitting on the church floor.
4. I wasn't quite sure why it was there, but I figured it belonged to the grooms nephew and he just brought it to play with while waiting for the start of the ceremony.
5. and 6. Turns out that, just before the ceremony, they actually placed the wedding rings in the back of the remote-controlled pickup truck. The nephew then used the truck to bring the rings to him, remotely!! Everyone in the audience was rolling! :rofl
7. The groom and his best man.
8. Waiting nervously...
9. and 10. The rings...
11. The happy bride (I still need to remove that darn fan in the background!)
12. Captured during the ceremony
13. Parental oversight
14. A brief lecture by the officiant before the vows
15. The happy couple, and one curious onlooker
16. Signing the guest book
17. First dance at the reception
18. Inspecting the goods!
19. and 20. Dancing until the night ends
Thanks for looking!

Also your light on the bride pic is looovely.
The dancing one is a little odd with the strange forehead blur from the motion.
I love the remote truck! Great job on catching everyone's response!
(2nd shooter? You could be #1 real soon!)
One thought on #2. It appears that you fired a flash on this one. If so, I would caution against that for this type of shot. A balcony shot is a perfect place to get an ambient light exposure even if all of the sanctuary goes inky black except for the altar and windows. Every church has a personality and mood...and a flash definately won't help seeing that.
All in all....great job. You won't be shooting second long!
