Partner doesn't know

What should I set my camera on for my partner to take pictures? I have 2 XSi's and she don't know how to use it in manual, or really anything. She knows how to take a picture, but not change settings. Should I have the camera set to auto, TV, AV, P, or A-DEP? Or something else? I would like to make it very easy for her.

Refresh our memory - what's the setting for the wedding? Is it outside, inside? If inside, what kind of light do you have? If inside, what do you have for ceilings? Are you using flash?

This one tomorrow will be outside. All I have for lighting is Off camera flash for both. Now Sunday will be inside, and haven't decided on using flash inside yetheadscratch.gif

I think I would probably set the camera:
    • ISO 100 (maybe 200)
    • Av, at about f/4 or f/5.6
    • Oh, and be sure to press the "Prayer" button - it might help:D
Do you best to explain about histograms and how to read them. Then about how to use the Exposure Compensation to help her with blowing out highlights.

That should pretty much cover it.

BTW - What lens are you going to stick her with?
