Where / What to shoot on a dreary Saturday

I'm living in Boston, MA and I am desperate to go out and take some pics. I also feel that I have covered every part of the city already with sunshine and at night. Tomorrow it will be cloudy with occasional thunderstorms. Yippee! I like to do urban walk around photography, with some good color.

Can anyone give me an idea of what to try out while in the city and crummy weather? I have a rain cover for my D300 camera, but not eager to rest my camera's future upon it.

    how about shooting the weather?

look back on images you've taken in the sunshine. those that you like most and go shoot them again contrasting them in their dreary, wet state. great opportunity for some b/w conversion work thumb.gif

It's almost 7PM Pacific Time on Saturday so I'm probably way too late to respond, but I'm reminded of Andy's classic "Man with the Umbrella" shot.

Maybe people reacting to and dealing with the rain would be an interesting essay, especially in an urban environment.

    Just a thought.

How about jumping into paddles of rainy water, making spashes and photographing the rain drops rolleyes1.gif

People with umbrellas, cars driving by and spraying you with dirty water?? Wet, mold growing buildings? Skies/clouds....
Or you can alway stay home, come to the board and complain about the weather! :D

    Ok, i'm out of ideas.
