Had to go out even if the light was wrong, to many people etc etc.. I absolutely blew my best shot at Hawk BIF's today short story:

Park the car at my usual place get out go over to get camera out of car, just in time to see two (yes two :cry) hawks fighting in the air over a fresh kill one upside down in the air, rat ( i think) hanging from the others talon who is right side up. Well you guys know the rest :wxwax :cry. So that's my story (yes I'm sticking to it :D).

Here's what I did come away with:

I did concentrate more on surroundings today, just found the green moss really neat :

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Hi Ben,

Great shots... I see you finally got your BIF!thumb.gif The color and reflections are very nice in your images. I believe it's just going to be plain difficult to get "great" BIF shots with the type of cams we use. (But I sure haven't given up trying to do so!:D ) Keep up your good work and thanks for sharin'.!:):
    Regards,
    Kirwin

That moss is pretty cool, especially with the ducks walking. Nice reflections. I don't know what the black bird is either, but nice capture.thumb.gif
