Saturday started out slow, and stayed that way. There wasn't a bird in sight, and the temperature was 106 degrees. There was a single tree where we were, we hid under it while we waited out the birds, wehich never came. Nothing to do but shoot frogs, butterflies and bugs.
All taken with 40D, 100-400L, a few wth 1.4X
Can anyone ID this guy? He was a big one..
I really like frogs so i was delighted to find a few..
What I assume to be mating butterflies..
And finally I found a bird. Of course it was a really dark bird with the sun overhead, the exposure leaves a bit to be desired, but it is my best ibus to date..
Hoping everyone had a good weekend.
Cheers

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
