Hume Lake

I haven't had a chance to clean up / bring out the mountains in the background but here is a first post on a trip to Sequoia (not counting the Baldy post on another thread).

Shot in late afternoon. Yet another reason to get a decent 77mm ND holder, but I still like this.

    Nice reflections! Suggestion: crop it and remove the top 1/4 of the sky and see if that helps. Needs a bit more contrast to bring out the color and contrast in the lake. Good capture!

    One thing I always like to see when taking shots of ponds, lakes is the reflection. Your shot is very nice indeed and looks amazingly peaceful and very pristine. :)
