Captive Balloon in the Sky

Howdy, I shot this series during the past weekend.

I played around a bit with LAB postprocessing (as described in the
Finishing School on dgrin) in order to give the colors in the sky
more punch. The polfilter I used wasn't as effective as I hoped.

The first three were shot with a 10D+ 70-200mm/2.8 L lens and the last two with a Sigma 10-20/4-5.6 EX.

    1+2 are nice.

    The last two the baloon is so small it might just be a spec of dust on your filter.

    I think the blue sky looks very good so you did well. I really like the comp of 1and 2. Balloon is still a bit small but the sky makes it stand out.
