1. Some excellent Weather.

2. Made for some interesting images

3. I shot with my old D2H to protect my newer gear from the rain. The low light and high ISO performance isn't as good on that body.

The 1st shot is my personal best. I want it to frame it and hang it in my wall :)

Having trudged through that muck several times that day, It occurred to me that I really needed to try to capture an image that truly illustrated the extent of the weather.

I brought a 10X10 easyup tent and tied it to the fence. Sat in a chair and set my monopod at a height that just missed the bars.

A little over 1000 clicks. I shot every competitor in each event. There are a lot more good shots, but I just upload the ones the newspaper is most interested in.
