Visiting the studio is a view into the history of Muench Photography. Talented Family too!
And shooting at Campus Point will be fun. Afternoon surf, birds and a cool beach.
Thanks for making this available!
Awesome!
Just a reminder to all: replying here is fantastic, but your RSVP is made via the link in my first post!

The link you have doesn't have a send button or a confirmation?
Unless when you hit add to calendar but it doesn't mention that anything has happened???
There is a submit button. Which browser are you viewing it in? Can you try refreshing the page?
The submit button is above the map. (or, it should be! )

got it, thanks!
Are you asking about kids?

Charlie
...but if not i will have a 8yr photographer phenom with me.
Well, it won't be set up for kids. There's plenty of expensive equipment lying around, and Campus Point can be a danger to a child if you're not paying attention.
All that said, bring him if you would like.

it would be great to meet up with any of you there!
TOMORROW!
I'm really jazzed. I'm driving up to Marc's early to help set up. Looking forward to seeing all who will be there, and for the rest, sorry you can't make it!
If you DO want to come, it's not too late, either RSVP via the first post in this thread, or heck, just come on over!

i was so looking forward to coming down! but i need to do a unexpected shift tonight.....
well look at it this way,...it will be alot quieter there without me:D
im sure you all will have a great time! i hope another time comes up...
Marc was going to ask for suggestions/ideas right? and i was going to make a case of a weekend workshop just learning tools and techniques would be something i would like to attend....
We didn't lay out the red carpet, but check out the really cool banner that Marc cooked up:
We had a great time talking shop (blurry P&S shot warning!):
And then it was out to shoot a patented Muench Workshops sunset (it really was a beaut!):
Marc, the sun is the other way!
Marc standing around, waiting for the good light to show up:
Oop! There it is!
The fully gallery of snapshots is here.

Marc also threw in some very large and beautiful calendars for the runners up.
Thanks to all that showed up, and best wishes to the one sickie that couldn't get out of bed to make it, and the workaholic that put food on his family's table ahead of joining us. Maybe next time!

It puts my little P&S shots to shame.

So how many rows across was that? Are moving clouds a problem?

I will be looking into third party software for stitching now
Aaron & Schmoo, thank you for your interest in the image:D

Well I'm sure you'll have many ears listening (or eyes reading) what you develop! So far I've not heard a peep against the stitching software, but these times they are a-changin'
Oh and I hear the open house was great, too. Wish I could have popped in, myself. :

3 exposures for each row.
Thank you, Ivar!

I'm struggling with this. Not because it isn't a beautiful scene but because the perspective is wrong--I can unwrap it in my head but visually, it doesn't look "right".
What do you think you'll try as an alternative to CS3 for stitching?
