From a recent wedding
For a while I'd been feeling in a bit of a rut. Looking through my images after a wedding, it seemed that just about every shot was taken with the Nikon 28-70 - talk about being in a comfort zone.
This wedding is a good example; other than the IR shot, everything was done with my D3/28-70 combo. After this, things changed a lot. I made a point of leaving this lens in my bag. For my more recent jobs, I'm using the 14-24 on my D300 and 85 1.4 on my D3 in order to get some different angles and looks.
So this is my last "comfort zone" wedding. I'll post some new ones later.

And I know what you mean about getting into funks. That's the glorious thing about lenses. You get so attached to one that you forget the rest, and then when you start using the forgotten ones again, it's like they're new all over again.

IR for a wedding is pretty cool! I am really impressed with all you shared.
