Awesome. I've never shot a bear in the wild and I'm green with envy.

I've never shot a bear in the wild and I'd be content to keep it that way!

    Great series!

#4 is outstanding mostly because the bear's eyes seem to be glaring right at you. The other three are very good also but I would do some work in my post processing to bring the eyes out more.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks all. I agree with you Harry. It would be great to have catch light in the eyes but these guys realy have deep dark beady little eyes. I will revisit my PP and see what I can do. Your feedback is always greatly appreciated.thumb.gif

clap.gif Number 4 is NICE! I'm surprised noone yet has asked how close you were to these guys. Pictures 1 & 3 look like they were taken in the woods from a crouched position close enough that there weren't any trees between you and Mr. Bear. Eek! Again, really cool shots! They make my little black bears look like toys!

Your right Harry, as usualrolleyes1.gif . I think a little work on the eyes has helped tremendously. IE:

Your are right on Christina. There was a shallow steam maybe 18 inches deep and 25 -30 yards across between us. We were crouched/sitting in the bushes of the stream bank. The bears knew we were there. We were with a very bear savy guide (armed). Thanks.
