Domain questions

I just set up my domain with godaddy and I everything works as it should according to the tutorials. I can type www.aimeeford.com and http://aimeeford.com. Both work as they should. What is not working, is just typing aimeeford.com (without the 'http://'). Every other site I go to on my machine, i never type the "http://www". Is there another setting I need to establish in my godaddy account in order to do this?

    That has nothing to do with your domain. The "http://" tells the web browser to access a hypetype transfer protocol resource (i.e. a website). Most modern web browsers will assume you are trying to access a web resource and automatically prepend http:// and www.

    I'm using a browser that does that and your website comes up just fine when I type just "aimeeford.com".

    I am the SmugMug Domain Specialist. I just took a look at your domain using an NSLookup and I see 2 A records:

    aimeeford.com. 3600 IN A 68.178.232.100
    aimeeford.com. 3600 IN A 208.79.45.23

    You need to delete the first one. That should fix your problem.

    Once you make the change, you may need to wait 24 hours for the changes to update.
