Ferry Shots

I really want to get back into street photography, but after years in "exile" from NYC and mainly taking landscape shots, I can't help but being intruiged by form and color. So yeah, my shots look different now, do they still work and engage? (I quite radically downsized them, so they lost a bit of sharpness & "pop").
Here are some variations of shots recently taken on the Staten Island Ferry - what do you think, and which one works best? Any C & C appreciated.

@dlplumer - a series of ferry shots didn't occur to me, but it's a great idea. Unfortunately I don't live that close anymore, but I still visit NYC frequently to meet friends and take pics. Maybe I should make a ferry ride my routine, I like your suggestion. You're right, lots of potential there.
