Glad you like it. I used DxO for raw conversion, and then some tricks in Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. So, I can't take much credit

Yeah, that's the feeling I get from it too.

Hey Aaron, thanks for looking. I am travelling at the moment. Will be home in a week. I have a couple of other shots with this lens I'll post. They're pretty ordinary snaps. I haven't used this lens very much yet. The optical qualities seem excellent and it pulls in a lot of what would be outside the frame without it. But I need to develop the right technique with it, know how to choose the right situations to use it. It requires some discernment in use. As I'm sure you realise!
Best.

i have one on reserve for the end of the month...$150 rental is not bad...
guess i will see first hand what i can do....ive read it is sharper and more vivid than the 16mm, anyway, im sure its qualities pass my abilities:D
Yep, there's no question about the quality, it won't disappoint you. But how much you like it otherwise depends on how wide you want to go. So far, my view is that it is great for interior spaces and close architecture, but less so for landscape. But dunno really yet.

Absolutely it's worth looking at. Nice job using post processing to turn this into something really interesting and worth while.
Now, go get a print of that on metallic paper and enjoy!
Thanks for sharing your work.
