A pincushion in the horse pasture
I had a visitor in the pasture just as it was coming dark tonight.
I didn't do any thing what so ever to these other than resize and convert to JPEG, before someone says something about the red eyes.
I don't know how the lense got any kind of focus at all. It was almost dark and this guy is very dark any time of day.
He started making the little clucking sounds they make when I got about three feet from him.
In full retreat. Full speed, about 1/4 mile per hour.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I decided not to do anything about the red eye since it was right at dark and I thought it added to the dark effect.
I was about 3-4 feet from him. They are pretty much harmless unless you get within range where they can slap with their tail or you try to pick one up like a friend of mine did when he was just a kid. He has had the nick-name porcupine ever since.
