has anyone any experience of using this system ? If so do you think it was worth the money, or can you recommend from experience another system. I have researched extensively on the net, now I'm only asking for personal experiences please.
Thanks
Caroline

I have a 4" Lee filter holder which is a bit bulky but works well. It is a particularly nice setup when you want to stack filters and the filters are large enough that I don't need to worry about vignetting for the most part. I use Sing-Ray and Formatt filters with it.

Yes. I'm a user. I've been very happy with the Lee holder/filters.

Thanks for the replies - are you using grads with hard or soft edge ? I've been advised that I should buy hard edge but this goes against my instinct .

    Caroline,

I have the Lee holder...and I really like it. It seems a lot better than other holders I have seen from Cokin etc.

In regard to GND filters, I have 3 Singh Ray filters...
    - 3 stop hard GND
    - 3 stop soft GND
    - 3 stop hard reverse GND

I bought the 3 stop soft especially for the Glacier shoot last year, and I was a little disappointed in how soft it was. Personally, I would recommend getting a something like a 3 stop hard to start with.

    Cheers,
