I got up early (4am) a week ago to spend the day taking photos. Hoping to make it to the middle of the state by noon with cards full of photos....no such luck. I never made it out of the county :rofl
Here are a few I took that day.
The sunrise was beautiful. It was a partly cloudy/overcast morning which really helped in this sunrise.
I couldn't have planned this one out. I was lucky to catch the sun coming up right behind a grouping of tree's standing out alone in a distant a field. I took a series of these.
A different view of Wheat.
Where does this go?
And a couple more....
I hope you enjoyed them.
I welcome any suggestions to help me improve

The trees over the stream is my favorite. The capture of colors, shade and reflection is outstanding clap
Exposure in them all is very nice.

The sunrises are gorgeous!!!!
It looks like you had a succesful and funfilled day!
I'm so happy you both enjoyed the photos.
Neil the photo of the water was by a bridge with no sides and falling apart, but that wasn't the scary part...it was the Moose we could hear, but not see.
Eia --- I turned my photo of the railroad crossing because I didn't like how it looked right side up. It did turn out kinda neat tho
Thanks for looking....It was a fun slow day of photo shooting.

Nice pictures. Except that picture with that railroad signs I don't see the fun behind your captions. I find the title little bit inappropriate... Thanks for sharing!

I'm glad you thought the photos were nice.
Sorry that you found the captions inappropriate that wasn't my intention.

Mary Kim - did you fill cards full? It isn't the destination, it is the journey that matters, ya know!
I enjoyed all of your photos from your outing. Thanks for sharing.

Ramblings About Me
This time of the year is great for orange or red sunrises (and sunsets). When I drive to the office early in the morning I something could hit myself because I didn't take the camera with me. I really should take it along.

Ann...no I didn't fill all my cards, but easily could have I was being so selective on my shots because we were planning a long day of photo shooting. It was a "reflecting/relaxing" day out in the country.
GSPeP -- yes this time of year the skies in the morning and evenings are on fire. Harvest has started and they kick up so much dust in the air which really adds a boost to the sky photos. Take your camera to work with you...grab some of those beautiful skies I'd love to see them.
