I finally found a couple of insects that held still long enough for me to get their picture. They had their minds on other things!

good shot bob, nice detail on the wings.
you forgot to crop the stacking distortions off bottom of frame.
looks like you missed focus on eyes of both, everything else good focus.
keep posting.

Good one some stacking errors that could be sorted out by using the healing brush in PS from the originals back onto the stacked image (eg the legs on the left fly).

You are right Phil, I will clean up those distortions. And Brian I'll try your healing brush suggestion. Skippy, thanks for the encouragement - I'll keep banging away at it.
