Sorry all I don't know what type of bird it is, but I guess it's not an owl as the photo was taken during the day, owls come out during the night, I think. could be a hawk of some kind..... Any bird experts here?

Where did you take it? I'm pretty sure it's an owl though. Like I said, maybe a barking owl or a boobook owl.
