I finalized the post processing on this picture last night. Unlike the Jarisel Cruz photos, I was a little more experienced on this one. Tell me what you guys think. I'm also sporting a new trademark on the lower right hand side that symbolizes my initials. My pictures will dramatically improve next month when I purchase the lighting kit.

Thanks guys
-Frank

The rest of her right boob. LMFAO. Just Kidding, it's a shadow.

wait I am talking about her right boob..ther eis a crescent of skin color under it. Is she "poking" out? I point it out because my eyes get drawn to it and it doesn't seem to fit.

Yeah, that's what I meant. It's just a harsh shadown.

    Frank,
    much better! thumb.gif

    A few gotchas:
    1) the aformementioned underboob skin/shadow
    2) image looks overexposed/overprocessed, the dress is partially blown out
    3) Way too much of a dead space
    4) A pose looks artificial and unfinished. I usually tell my models to make very bold moves, much bolder than they would do IRL
    5) Her facial expression doesn't match the body language
    6) Her skin is overbarbified

    HTH

This crop is terrible. It looks like a straight out of the camera shot with no work done on composition. Pretty lady, but she is too centered with tons of space all around.

Crop it significantly tighter and you would have a more interesting pic.

Pose looks forced. Background is too bright.

I was actually going for the forced bright background to make her stand out more. You guys will laugh when you read this, but the lighting was provided by a center ceiling fan with 4 100 wat light bulbs. LoL. I'm reading a book on how to understand lighting and the different effects it has on your camera.

Next month you'll see a grand improvement on my portraits. I have purchased the 5 in 1 reflector/diffuser and I will purchase the lighting kit that Nikolai suggested. In two months I'll have a pretty nice studio setup for my shots. I'm very excited! The Nikkor F1.8 50mm lense I purchased this month is my new baby!

This is a self portrait, hard shadows on the right side of the face, but the most recent picture I've taken. This was before the reflector I purchased last night. You should have seen how silly I looked trying to fold it.

Thanks for the comments. Some would take it as a group beat down and quit, but I see it as pros helping noobs. And this is what I want to do. ;-)
