This was taken on a very windy day, so didn't end up coming out that bad.

Hi Geoff and welcome to the Forum
That's a pretty good shot, focus has grabbed the bees butt and across it's upper back.... wind is not your friend when trying to shoot Macro.
You are well on the right path, remember to focus on the bees eyes.
Hope you get another chance when it's not windy to shoot more bees.
