Stan and I headed out on Sunday afternoon with a camera, bag full of lenses and a dog each to shoot some of these flowers growing wild on Therfield Heath near to where we both live.

I went the long lens route while he went macro. (Post some of yours in here too Stan...)

See what you think.... (Comments welcome)

These were all shot with my EOS 10D and my very new 70-200mm f2.8 IS USM EF lens...
All taken using a tripod with image stabilisation turned off. A little cropping on some images, some artificial rain and that's about it !

What do you all think ??

Neily I love the first 2 and the one with the snail, though I personally would crop just a little. I love the colour of these flowers and the water drops were a great touch. Makes them look even more delicate.

And stan the dogs are so cute! And I love the way you framed that first flower shot, and the colour is excellent.

Looks like you had a great day shooting!
