I took this shot from the Eilean DOnan Castle and deliberately transformed and Postprocessed it so it would have a dark moody feel to it.. does it work? or is it just over the top?

AND I FREAKIN' LOVE IT! Superb PP job! If I may ask, how'd ya get the castle to "lean"? Super Wide Angle?

JK Rowling may have a new book cover!

    Thank you :-)

I use a 10-20mm sigma lens for most of my shots and the castle was leaning slightly in the original, I accentuated it by using the free transform tool in Photoshop :-)

Agreed. It's at that perfect balance of where photography blends into art.

clap.gif I think your PP was well executed and very effective! I also like the lighting (prominent before and after the castle) and colors leading you to the castle. Would maybe like to see the bridge just a tad more (not cast in shadow as much).

    Take care,

Looks very creepy, but intriguing at the same time.

I like the way you've made the walls look out of wack and exagerated.

    Nice editing Spako clap.gif ... Skippy :D
