I have a 17-55 2.8 IS lens for sale w/box, manual in the US.
It is in great shape, IS works great, and no dust at all inside like quite a few seem to have. I have found it to be very sharp on my 20D. The only blemish on this lens that causes me to lower the price is what appears to be a speck of dust on the outer element, but it does not come off, so it must be a very tiny pixel-sized mark. It is very tiny and does not impact images at all, but it is enough to lower the price a bit.

In any case for $825 paypaled (echeck or split fees) and shipped in the US, you will get a very nice lens, the price is very fair for the performance and condition of this lens.
I have a pretty marked up hood w/box for sale for this lens too, for $20 shipped and paypaled, but I would either like to sell this with the lens or after the lens has been sold.
Photos below of the lens and from the lens, shots taken from my last wedding shoot (;)), a sample handheld 8/10 sec night shot and others.
