Sometimes we just take 3 photos and get one good.
Just a Lisbon, Portugal taxi driver.

    Antonio,

What I love about this shot is how natural it is. It's not contrived and the exposure is perfect. It's almost like I'm looking at him in person. Nicely done.

Yup, this rocks. The exposure is spot on, the composition is perfect - it tells the story very well without being in your face about it. The driver looks like he's enjoying his work, like he's a real "people person." A portrait should capture the essence of a person and I think this one does so very, very well!thumb.gif

I think this is one of your best "men working" shots yet!

This one is a keeper that will be handed down through the years to family members. Great capture.

We really have to dare to shoot to get good pictures.
I do know this is good. Yes, this time I think so.:D

I used the flash on my left hand, half arm away from the camera.
    I only made 3 shots.
As I was coming from shooting movement and I had the camera on AIServo and the focus jumped to the middle of the scene when I framed. I had to change the setting then.
Then I shot the hole thing :D, the guy and the car. Bah ! Lousy, lousy, lousy. Common picture, usual, anyone could do it, vulgar. :D
    Then I made this one.

In Lightroom I made two shots: 1 for the guy and another form the rest of the scene.
In CS3 I put them in diffs layers, masking the guy to make him pop.
Just a bit. The histogram was decently "drawn" to the right.
Lightroom is easy and simple, giving nice results unless we have a louzy histogram pushed to the right. (it happened to me last week :bash). But this is another story to tell later when I post the pictures.
    :D
