I do not do this very much but with yosemite coming i did practice a little this is Joshua Tree Nation Park ,calif comments please trying to get ready for the trip and need help :rolleyes

    I have done a lot at Joshua Tree myself. We go there every year with my son's scout troop. I like to capture something in the foreground that becomes a focal point in the image - like an interesting plant. It creates more dimension, in my opinion. The link will take you to my scout gallery that has some shots that illustrate what I mean.
