Help my home page not working

Fred, do you own that domain? It looks like Go-Daddy has it:

It looks like we are experiencing the same problem this morning. Our site http://www.edzeltserphoto.com has links to smugmug galleries using the photos.edzeltserphoto.com subdomain. The subdomain has been working fine for months and does not work this morning. I called the hosting company of our main page (who set up the subdomain a while ago) and they told me that there were no changes and the subdomain still correctly points to zeltserphoto.smugmug.com. They pinged the photos.edzeltserphoto.com and it correctly resolved to smugmug servers. Looks like the problem is on this end. Please help!

Forgot to mention: I have temporarily changed all the gallery links to point directly to zeltserphoto.smugmug.com to keep the site operational while this issue is being resolved.

All the links should have photos.edzeltserphoto.com. http://photos.edzeltserphoto.com should take the user to our main smugmug page, instead we are getting the following message:
Invalid URL

The requested URL "/", is invalid. Reference #9.3678170c.1219673914.0

Are you sure both of you followed the directions to setup your CNAME correctly?

Please take a gander at Doc's post here: http://www.dgrin.com/showpost.php?p=905525&postcount=12

Basically, you need to have your CNAME record pointing to domains.smugmug.com instead of yournickname.smugmug.com .

You are right, sorry about that. I did not change the CNAME record for the subdomain. Seems to be working now.

Well it's been working just fine and I have changed nothing.
Is this something new I have to do?

Fred, it is very important to check and make sure the CNAME is correctly pointed at 'domains.smugmug.com'. Exactly as it is there.

Hey guys thanks for all the help.
It does work with this address www.riverbend.smugmug.com
So at GoDaddy I changed it back to riverbendphotos but no luck yet.
Guess it takes a while.

How did it get changed?
I know I didn't do it....I not that good on this web crap
I get something working and I leave it alone.

I passed out a lot cards last weekend I imagine lots of clients lost.

If you set it right, it should be working. Send me your GoDaddy info via the help desk and I will get it working for you.

GoDaddy is usually pretty fast.

What did you do to get it working? I seem to be having the same problem. http://dmunson.smugmug.com/ works fine but my domain through GoDaddy http://www.dmunsonphoto.com doesn't. I haven't changed anything at Smug or GD and CNAME looks fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure how it was fixed or how close I was to fixing it myself...but it works great now.
