Teton Weekend

Made the annual weekender up to Jackson Hole this past weekend and enjoyed some great times. Regardless of how many times I visit that area, I am always stunned at how beautiful it is. Having been to many of the classic shooting locations before, I hoped to return home with a solid variety of images with both the traditional take and perhaps something just a bit different as well. Sorry for the large number of images in this post--figure it's better to just get em all up and out. Hope you enjoy.

(On a somewhat embarrassing, but revealing note--I mistakenly threw my 40D in my bag instead of my 5D and other than missing my full frame, was pleasantly surprised at the quality of images turned out by this body)

My God the last image threw me into past when i was a little kid of 8 and i watched all the time book of landscapes of colorado which i still have each image is master piece like yours

All very nice images. I like the shot of the ghostly buffaloes the most.

I love the ghost buffaloes, but the Mormon Row shot is one of the best of that view I've seen. Really nice work!

Wow, great set. I really really like #1, the composition is outstanding (everything is there, the bison in the foreground, the identically positioned bison in the middle, and the great peaks in the background). #4 and #8 are classic. Another national park that's on my (evergrowing) list.
