Outdoor portraits

Working on my outdoor portraiture. Don't have reflectors and such yet...so I try to go out when the light is best. Went to the local arboretum with my family. Wasn't happy at all with my posings of all 3 daughters together. Candids were difficult as well as the three took off running in every direction.

Managed to get a few shots, though, that I liked a lot.

This one is now a 13x19" print that hangs on our wall:

that's pretty cool and seems like a really nice way to incorporate the girls into the art in your house.

I think they were trying to NOT fall off :)

While I wasn't too happy with the group shots, I got a few single shots that I liked:

I like the photo my self. I have relized kids are a hard subject to keep still.
Laughing.gif, my four year old daughter don't want to stand still for a photo.
    What camera did you use?

Which is why we need to photograph them NOT being still :) I do try "posed shots" -- but mostly I try to catch them enjoying themselves. But it's hard with 3 -- to get them all in the same shot without posing.

    Canon 20D with Tamron 28-75 f2.8 lesn.
