really all it did was walk around until it got irritated enough to leave.
I tried not to bother it but this isn't Fla. they're a little sensitive up here.

& hey Ric the only thing I could even get a sniff of a shot at was this Grebe at Green Island. I saw stuff (owl, hawk herron, wood duck, kingfisher) just couldn't get a shot.

Yeah, Green Island can be a pain. I could show you shots that would make you sick. 15 egrets and 10 heron in the same frame...all asses!

I've come to the conclusion that GI is an evening spot. The only good morning spot requires a good deal of walking...the last dike road to the east. That is where I saw the flock of 300 or so Pelicans.

    Nice GBH, Dave. :D

BTW don't leave the gravel for the grass...I was politely told by the DNR that's a no-no even if no signs are posted.

    (begin rant)

You guys needd to come out here for a while, just to know how good you all have it. Believe me, I would settle for for asses, at least they're attached to herons and egrets *sigh*

    (conclude rant)

I spend countless hours in search of our feathered friends, and at the end of the day I lurk here for a while, just to get my fix. It's a good thing for me that you're all really good at this stuff of my jones would be awful thumb.gif

BTW, nice set. I especially like the first one.
