So at the interpretive center I spotted this educational sign with some bird ID... kind of neat and it's even graffiti marked by overhead viewers :D

    Baylands area map
Here's an overview of the entire area, the golf course, the airport, the duck pond, ranger station, etc.

And here's where Andy, Steve, Hawkman, Danielle and others are hanging out... and me and my family :D

There are two parking areas at the duck pond, one is closer to the airport. You can take the path to the west and walk north and walk behind the bird sanctuary, but it's not the best view. But there is a bench back there and a good view of the water.

The eastern most parking area has the porta potty, in need of a good cleaning I think everyone would agree... unfortunately.

There are benches so you can watch the ducks, geese, gulls and the people feeding them. Sometimes in the Eucalyptus trees you'll see some birds, and a few come in the little bay.

There's a picnic area that's very pretty just east of the ranger station. Continue around to the parking area for the interpretive center. After that you can drive around to the sailing station -- I have more photos (just a few) to upload of that area later.

Hope this is helpful to everyone so they can get an overview of the area.
