I've been playing with my 17-55 lately, so i had a chance to take some shots of my gym mate, she is leaving for Chicago, and took few of us out. So i decided it would be great op to bring my cam.
These are taken with on camera flash...

pretty girl! overall I think the flash need to be bounced..the lighting on her is bit harsh and there are sharp shadows. On #2 the shadown on the wall needs to be cropped out

Thanks for the comment, no way to bounce the flash, i didn't bring my off camera flash, so, i knew it wouldn't be anything fantastic. This was more fun snaps then anyting, just to see how this lens working.

Shadows don't bother me here at all, it's was shot at night, dark street, i prefer to leave them.

Nice Shots!
The bg is a little distracting in 2, 4, 5 & 6.
I would straighten #5.
She is a pretty gal.
