Please post your pic, First day of School

I am sure there are many parents out there that shoveled out their kids this week for the first day of school. Even though this is only a snapshot of my girls, it is still more precious then any "serious" photos I have taken.

My girls are in the 1st grade and were so very excited. They made sure to bring their apples to give to their teacher....so dang cute. They thought up the apple idea on their own and they also made a card to go with the apples. Such thoughtful kids, i am blessed to have such great kids.

My daughter taken yesterday morning before I drove her to school. First day of 8th grade. I don't know when that happened! She's the BMOC this year since her school only goes up to 8th grade.

Incredible shot. You can just feel his pain. Especially with the way he has his hand on his chest. It just hurts.
It almost makes me get a little teary eyed myself.

Great images, all, but you know what I would like to see? Images of parents, as they leave (or not ) their little ones for the first time.

MY DIL took her daughter (1st of 2 kids) to her first day of kindergarten. She said Olivia was fine, looking forward to school and new friends. She said she, herself, was a blubbering idiot.
