After much trying I finally managed to bait some wasps with a small piece of raw fish. The wasps were biting off small chunks and carrying them back to their nest.
Last shot is a 14 shot animation and may take a while to load.

Now that would have been aweseome to see for real.
Getting to see how they use those jaws to rip the fish apart
Did it take them long to cut pieces from the Bait you put out?

:skippy Everyone has the right to be stupid, but some people just abuse the privilege :dgrin
I'd guess it took about 30 secs to get a suitable piece off. I was trying to time how long it would take them to get rid of the whole 1"*2" piece, but my cat ran off with it halfway through

Phil - these are common wasps - have the near anchor shape between the eyes.
