    Thank you Awais. This is an evaporative salt collection operation. The water table is only a few feet below the surface, so a trench will be dug and will fill with briny-water coming from underneath the dry lake bed. The brine is trucked off to an evaporation pond, where the water evaporates leaving salt.
    Anybody can do it.
