Hello! This is pretty much my first attempt at doing somewhat of an actual portrait. This is actually a cut out of a larger picture that i used. She is my freind and climbing partner as you may be able to see. I know that i overexposed the shot and actually made it a bit brighter on accident when i did the changes to the picture. But i was wondering what other critizisms and ideas anyone else had. I could definatly use them! Also i was bummed at the shadow from the nose but couldnt really do much about it! Thoughts?

I would have adjusted the aperture to blur out the twigs-but that's probably because of the crop you are showing.

The good news is that you have a nice subject so perfecting the shot will be fun :)

oh and to be fair, my technique is to take a million shots and hope one is good :P
