    Hi Marc, not sure what the little fellow in the first shot is,
    there's quite a size difference between it and the bee, wonder if he is sitting there in terror.

    Those little Japanese beetles are forever mating, heck it's unusual to just see one on it's own, they still get on with their daily routine with the extra added weight of the partner on their backs.

    Both lovely captures :)
    Those Jap beetles may be a serious pest but they are rather beautiful things.
    I'd guess on the other bug in #1 being a small capsid/mirid plant bug but a bit difficult to tell.
