With Gustav coming through, there wasn't much to do on Labor Day so I decided to practice low light photography on my pets in the tank.

Crawfish hiding. This crawfish was born in the tank, but I didn't know it at the time. I rescued a crawfish from a crawfish boil and it apparently was pregnant. The oscar gets infections so I put meds in the tank. I think the blue color of the meds dyed the shell of the two babies blue.

Heh, I put two small oscars in my tank years ago. I knew what would happen. The oscars were large enough to avoid being eaten by the catfish, but not big enough to be left alone. It was entertaining to watch the balance of power shift as the oscars grew larger. When the oscars approached maturity, they ate the catfish, which I didn't like anyway.
