Welcome! Nice eye contact in all of these. The detail on the grackle's feet is amazing. I like the head-on perspective of the roadrunner plus it looks like its crest is raised. Nice spread wings in the mockingbird image...thumb.gif

Grackles are personality-plus. I really like the grackle shot, but they're all well done.

Really enjoy all 3 pics - they are wonderful shots - but #'s 1 & 2 are so darn comical... rolleyes1.gif

The Crackle seems to rebuke you for ogling with your lens! The Mockingbird's poise too, is very nice timing. The feather details are stunning. What lens? Must be 400+, I guess?

    Hi John,

Yes, he's ogling!! mwink.gif That's the Sigma 500/4.5 lens. Believe it or not, the Roadrunner shot is in my SUV, on a Kirk Fat Bean Bag on the window ledge...

    Cheers,
    Marc

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
