These shots are from Friday night. We went up to Pinnacle Peak to shoot these.

    LOVE the first shot! Not as big of a fan of the colors in the second, but it's a good picture nonetheless.

    #1 is really sweet. thumb.gif Nice shot. #2 is very good.
    I would have loved to be on site to experience the storm.
    We've had few storms this year but we've been saved
    some problems because of it.

    I'm curious.... are both shots out of camera for color?

    Thanks! It was quite a storm, but the one the day before was more intense. I wasn't able to get an lightning shots of that one. I adjusted the saturation a little on the color, but basically the color is what came out of the camera. Scottsdale is on the other side of that peak, so the city lights came into play when there was a break in the clouds.

    Appreciate that info Christinamae. Arizona is practically legendary
    for its lightning storms. Of course there are other hots spots worthy
    of note. I think it would be cool just to chase storms around for
    awhile and take pictures when possible. :D Michael
