Well here is my first paid photo engagement shoot and I'm hoping it will help lead to many more!:clap It was my second time doing engagement photos and I was definitely more confident in running the shoot which I think helped me get better pics. All shot with my 30D and my new Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 which I loved using for this, much better than the 18-55mm kit lens I used last time I did a photo shoot! Enjoy!:thumb

Thank you for all the kind replies! They were a fun couple to shoot and I couldn't have asked for a better location than the old train. I think this session is going to help me a lot with getting some clients in the area! Thanks again!

    Wow!
Very nice! I'm happy to see such good shots, especially with what I believe is somewhat similar gear. gives me hope to pull off something similar.

What's really great is your creativity and you captured their spirits very well.

Thank you very much! I really like the Tamron, its my first lens and my first lens to have a fixed aperture which was a nice step up from the variable aperture of the kit lens I had used before. If I had the money I would have sprung for the Canon version but for the money its a great lens and I would have no problem recommending it!

Thank you so much! I've really enjoyed the opportunities I've had to take picture of people who really love each other and try to catch that emotion. I thing that set up you have with the XSi and the 18-55 and 55-200 is a great combo and you should be able to take some really great shots with that set up! Enjoy your shooting!thumb.gif
