Greetings Dgriners!

My friend came for a visit this week, since we both like graffiti and such we went down to the seaport. This area is very well isolated and full of concrete walls. There was so much paintings on this area so it is now more legal to put your art here.

I love this area, allways new paintings and broken things, old tires and all that..Cool atmosphere.

I like the post. What stands out to me is the color treatment. Could you tell me what you did?

Oh, and I like the depth of field and using foreground elements. Really gives your pictures a 3D look in some of them.

    Thanx :)

Well the color treatment is the following..ALOT of contrast a tad of blacks and some finetuning in curves. oh oh and i forgot..i put a high pass mask on some parts where i want a tad more pop..Duplicate layer, highpass filter ( adjust the ammount ) then just erase wherever you don´t want the effect.

Then frame it and save as quality 12 jpeg.

Speaking of puting things in the foreground..I had that in mind..I think it something i need to remember and work with cause it does alot to the images. Glad that you noticed that mwink.gif

    Thanx for writing.

Aha. I figured a lot of blacks and contrast, but I did not know about the high pass mask. I don't really know what that is, but I'll have to try it. And I guess I hadn't really noticed the frames at first, but now that you mention it, I think they really make a difference. Thanks! Now I can try some of this stuff out.
