Weekly Assignment #92: Tyme Cover
Nikolai
Registered Users Posts: 19,035 Major grins
This time;-) around we're gonna create a faux cover mimicing nothing else but the Time magazine itself. I'm talking about a full face protrait, samples for which can be found here:
http://www.time.com/time/searchresults?N=46
We call our publication "Tyme" just to avoid legal troubles, but other than that you should try to recreate the look and feel, inclugin the bright red typeface.
Let's get busy!

Thank you Lee, and you're right, I'm not sure he'll agree to sit for me again for quite some time. (At least not without a lengthy contract and proof that all outtakes have been destroyed.) I made the mistake of showing him the finished product before I posted :nono. He knew it was for Nikolai's assignment, but of course, I didn't tell him I was posting it for all the world to see...:tiptoe
It's all good, he has a good sense of humor and I have ways of getting back in his good graces! :sweet

Nice, Frank, great entry!
I had to put something up. Lori's entry inspired me. The toughest part of that was getting the facial expression I needed. It's hard to see what you look like when you are on the other side of the camera taking a self portrait. This was fun! Thanks Nik and Lori. ;-)

I'm a bit concerned on the PS work on the hat, but lovely entry otherwise!
