Capture NX, horrendously bad?

I am just curious if I am alone in my feelings about Capture NX. When I first got my d300 I used this program exclusively. Now that I have tried Lightroom 2 and Bibble pro, it seems this program was designed very poorly.
I was tempted to upgrade to NX 2 when it was announced, but after using other programs, I can't even fathom spending the money.
Am I missing something?

In my experience, Capture NX2 is one of the best RAW conversion tool you can use if you shoot Nikon. The work flow is very good once you understand the principle but I must agree that the image management need more work compare to LR. However, Bibble interface is pretty clumsy as well and despite good RAW conversion, it does not come even close to Capture NX2. Bibble shall release V5 soon so this may change. The only concensus is that Capture NX2 batch processing is slow compare to others; however I have been using it successfully but I rarely have more than a few hundreds images per shoot so I did not suffer from it.
Capture NX2 can accept plug-ins such as Color Efex 3; an amazing tool that I love to use. Here are a couple of link to help you out. Jason O'dell's book is pretty good; it helped me in a few areas. You can find an online tutorial Here and the book ordering page Here.
