Common grackle decided to pay an uncommon visit to the seed dish. He shoved a blue jay aside and flashed his oil slick-like coloration in the late afternoon sun.

Not great photography, but a neat looking bird.

Pentax K100D, Tamron 70-300 lens, f/7.1, iso 400, 1/125s, 200mm. Shot through a pane of glass.

    I agree with what has already been said, those are nice shots. Getting the color and exposure right on a black bird is always tough, and you did just finebowdown.gif
