Cos I am such a fun guy, I thought I'd share these with you today...
It's been raining again (where hasn't it) in Preston this afternoon, but I went out in between the showers to take a few images.
This fungi was spotted by the wife as I was reversing the car out of the drive on the way to the do the weekly shopping. "Ooh, we've got some fungus on the tree trunk" she announced. "I'll have a look afterwards" I said, thinking in camera mode straight away...
Anyway, to cut a long story short, when the rain lessened enough, I took these.
C&C as always appreciated.
And one from the bird table in the back garden that I found doing something else...

I like the Fungi in the last shot Paul.
It's interesting how many shapes sizes and colours this stuff grows in.
