CS or Elements in LR2 workflow

I "grew up" using early versions of Photoshop Elements, now using Elements 6.0. I quickly adapted to using Lightroom and shooting RAW. I am a part-time photographer, and do mostly weddings and sports work.

My question is:
If I am shooting mainly RAW and using Lightroom 2, and knowing that there are some tasks that you need to go out of Lightroom to perform, what are the real drawbacks to using current versions of Elements instead of current versions of "full" Photoshop CS?

Cost is not the factor for me, but I am not familiar with CS and the learning curve for CS is intimidating, so I am trying to determine if the feature differences justify learning it over Elements.... ANY thoughts are welcomed! Thanks!

Elements is a very capable product. If you are finding it can do everything you need a pixel editor for in Elements, then you probably don't need CSx.

I haven't kept up with the latest versions of Elements, but here are some things that CSx has that Elements does not:
    • Full curves
    • All features work with 16-bit editing
    • CMYK and LAB support
    • Layer Masks
    • Channels
    • Smart objects
    • Smart filters
    • HDR support
    • Soft proofing
    • BlendIf sliders
    • Layer Comps
    • Filters like Liquify
    • Actions
    • Digital watermarks
    • Customizable menus and workspaces
    • Snapshots
    • History palette and history brush
    • Droplets
    • Scriptable with JavaScript or AppleScript
    • Paths
