Hey guys,

Took a few shots of my friend this AM using 2-3 strobe units (SB600/SB900) and umbrellas. It was my second time using off camera strobes and was a lot of fun. c&c welcome...

She is very pretty and the exposure, lighting and colors all look very nice to me.

Even with the shadow #6 is my fave followed by 5, 4, and 1.
In #2 the distortion makes her hand look larger and the viens are not very flattering. Also you may want to clone out the white fabric directly under her right arm in #1.

Thanks for the feedback. What to do about the veins? Any chance of getting rid of them? Good catch with the white fabric for #1- don't know how I missed that.

The shadow was intentional for #6 (took 3 shots to get the shadow within the frame actually)... :D

Yeah I think it works well in #6. thumb.gif

The skin on her left arm is creased as if it was putting too much pressure on the right - causing the problem almost as if her hand was going to turn blue and fall asleep. Have her hold her hand up so the blood drains out. Or have her place them similar to #5. I'm not experienced enough with photoshop to know if you can fix it with that. I see a bunch of portrait photogs say place the pinky towards the camera because this can happen or the thumb side pointed towards the camera can make the hand look more manly.
