It's hard to tell at this size, but I think all those stray hairs above her face would bug me. How does it look at a better resolution? Have you thought about cloning them out?
Somehow it is only fitting that you were the first thread
Love the back lighting on this picture. The outlining of the figure and the stopped motion of the hair is perfect. Nice shot to boot-off the new topic
Thank you!
Backlighting is great for black on black silhouettes, and of course, a large chunk of blond hair helps to create a bit of artistic chaos...:D

David, I see what you're talking about. I'm not sure if it bothers me, but you can check higher res yourself. In any case, cloning them out would be a very easy job.
Now this is a GREAT forum.....I can't wait to post.
Nik...Great shot....Love it.
You're only as good as your next photo....
One day, I started writing, not knowing that I had chained myself for life to a noble but merciless master. When God hands you a gift, he also hands you a whip; and the whip is intended solely for self-flagellation...I'm here alone in my dark madness, all by myself with my deck of cards --- and, of course, the whip God gave me." Truman Capote
Nik, the one thing that bothers me is the way her legs kind of taper off and are then cut. I'm thinking crop right at the bottom of her toosh. That keeps in all the awesomeness, and gets rid of the only (minor) nit. Otherwise...love it!

Thanks, Emily!
I guess there is no such thing as a perfect crop in this kind of image
